One of the Many Reasons I like Virginia Tech

Well its nearing that time in my life when I need to decide where to go to college. It's really cool how it seems to become clearer every day, God is awesome. My top school right now is Virginia Tech. As I was sitting here, working on applications, it entered my mind to try to find what kind of Christian groups are at the colleges I'm interested in. As I looked, I couldn't find much , except for VT. They seem to have an amazing group of believers in the Intervarsity program. As I browsed through their site, I came upon this nugget of photographic gold from one of the boys small groups at VT. So basically God showed me that:

1. There is a really cool group of Christians at VT, and
2. It really is possible to duct tape someone to a ceiling!

Praise God! Go Hokies!

I'm in

The day has come.
I have decided to join the ever swelling ranks of the bloggers of the world to post my experiences, and perhaps opinions of the world around me on the internet for all to view. I make no guarantees that this blog will be useful to anyone, nor do I want to convey the message that I should be stand beside some of the greatest bloggers of all time such as the Apostle Paul, C.S. Lewis, or the Ben's Kendrew and Claypool (Yes, for the record, I think Paul would be a blogger). Perhaps my main motivation in creating this blog is to force myself to step back and view the world I live in as I should, to bounce my ideas and opinions off this... well... black screen, and anyone who decides to read it. Either that or maybe I just want to be as cool as Bob, or even Cam, Gu, or Phil. I'm not sure. What I do know is that this is a blog, and I'm defiantly writing it... complex I know. Anyway, some of you people out there, if you are really out there, are bouncing your eyes off this colorful black screen and asking yourself "what the heck is 'Behind Blue Eyes' supposed to mean?". Well, if you people out there, or not out there (I cant see, the screen is too dark) are WHO fans you'll recall the song "Behind Blue Eyes" off their album Who's Next. If your not a WHO fan, the song is about a very depressed man who has a lot of issues and blames others for his problems. I have very little in common with this man ( I hope) but I do have blue eyes, and this blog has by thoughts in it, therefore all you out there are seeing inside my head, and thus "behind my blue eyes". Dude, that's complex.... not really.
